# Availability and compliance

## Geographic availability and sanctions

Access to Turnkey is subject to applicable sanctions and export-control
restrictions. The [Terms of Service](https://www.turnkey.com/legal/terms) prohibit
access by sanctions targets, including certain listed persons and entities,
residents or entities in comprehensively sanctioned countries or territories,
and parties acting on their behalf. These restrictions also apply to end users
accessing Turnkey through your application.

Refer to the current Terms of Service for the governing restrictions and
definitions. Sanctions can target individuals and entities as well as locations;
the existence of a sanctions program concerning a country does not by itself
describe every user's eligibility. For questions about availability for your
